The Bee Line  January Lunchtime Seed Sessions

A series of lunchtime seed processing gatherings in support of The Bee Line

Itching to get growing or want to support the Midway / Frogtown Bee Line?

The Bee Line (Pierce Butler Route) is looking for helpers this month with its seed stocks. During fall community seed collecting workshops, 120 species of native pollinator plant seed were collected and that seed needs to be processed and packaged!  Join area native pollinator plant enthusiasts to assist with this effort at Hancock Rec Center at a series of Monday lunchtime Seed Sessions. During Seed Sessions, participants will gain practical seed saving skills such as seed cleaning, seed storage, and seed starting. The resulting processed seeds will be used in upcoming Bee Line seed starting classes and in seed starting kits that will be available starting in February.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm (drop-in)

Select Mondays in January (9th,16th, &  23rd)

Hancock Rec Center, 1610 Hubbard Ave, St Paul, MN 55104

All supplies will be provided and attendees are welcome to bring their lunch. No experience is needed. No rsvp is required for Seed Sessions, but questions and status updates can be directed to trees@hamlinemidway,.org.  This event is a drop-in activity supported by the HMC Environment Committee, with support from Lawns to Legumes.
