Pierce Butler Community Planting Day October 1st!

Come plant Pierce Butler Meadow!

Saturday, October 1st

1-4  pm drop-in anytime!

The Bee Line is establishing native pollinator plants along Pierce Butler Route using plants grown by our community. This fall planting culminates a year-long effort of saving & sowing seed, and then nurturing the propagated plants this summer by a dedicated group of volunteers from our area of St. Paul. More project information is at hamlinemidway.org/pbm.

Details for planting day:

  • This is an outdoor activity at a hilly site with uneven terrain & tall plants.

  • Wear sturdy shoes & clothes that are ok to get dirty.

  • We will be digging holes, planting seedlings, watering & mulching.

  • Tools & training provided (welcome to bring trowel and gloves if you have them).

If you drive, park on Taylor Avenue & take care when crossing traffic!
